Description

Find out about libraries and other resources that are available, and learn about which documents to use for your primary and secondary sources. There will be tips on collaborating with relatives and how to gather family information, including the use of interviews. You will learn how to keep everything organized after you start gathering information and documents.

This class is part of the Starting Your Family History Journey series, a collaboration with UFM and Riley County Genealogical Society (RCGS). The three classes (sign up for one, two, or all three) will cover getting started discovering your family history, researching tips and resources, and writing your family stories.
