Fun with Grandkids: Kindness Rocks!
Sorry, we are no longer accepting registrations for this course. Please contact our office to find out if it will be rescheduled, or if alternative classes are available.
Fun for everyone, Kindness Rocks is a national effort, helping to spread joy throughout communities using a simple act of kindness. After a guided conversation about kindness, compassion and how to make positive connections with others, you will get to paint a rock or two to give as a gift to someone special. Please join us for an all ages Kindness Rocks event to doodle, decorate, paint and write on lovely little rocks to surprise our community (or one another) with colorful, encouraging messages. No artistic abilities needed. Kindness Rocks is about open hearts, happy thoughts, cultivating compassion and connecting with others by sharing what we love and appreciate most in life.
All supplies will be provided including rocks, paints, markers, brushes, and more. Attire? Crafty. Consider wearing something that you wouldn’t mind getting a little paint on and feel free to bring snacks. This class is organized as a special activity for grandparents & their grandchildren; however, other adult/children relationships are welcome to register. Sponsored by the Manhattan Nonviolence Initiative - Community, Connection, Conversation.
