Discover fun, interactive activities that help children understand how their thoughts, feelings, bodies, and breathing work together. Through hands-on activities, children will learn to recognize emotional triggers, notice different levels of tension, and practice techniques to calm themselves when feelings become overwhelming. Along the way, they’ll build self-confidence, strengthen self-awareness, and develop skills to help them manage emotions and make positive choices. Ages: 5-7.
Janai Mestrovich, M.S., is an award-winning Social-Emotional Learning instructor with over 50 years of experience at the University of Oregon and internationally. After creating a pioneering approach focused on fun and experiential ways to manage stress, Janai is excited to share her expertise in Social-Emotional Learning. Among her many accomplishments, she is the author of nine children's books focused on this same topic.
