How do plants work exactly? How does an immobile organism that feeds on sunlight actually take up water, exchange gases, produce food and dispose of waste? This class will serve as a primer in Plant Physiology and will include brief summaries of evapotranspiration, respiration, photosynthesis, and basic plant anatomy/ anatomical functions that will help explain these seemingly mysterious processes to a layperson. Having this knowledge will arm you with skills that will assist in ensuring your garden thrives next year.
