Everyone knows that plants need fertilizer, but determining what to apply, how much to apply and when to apply it can be challenging. In this class I will explain the basics of plant nutrition, focusing on the Big 3 (Nitrogen, Phosphorus and Potassium). During this class we will cover what these nutrients do for the plant, how to determine if your plants are nutrient deficient, and a breakdown of options to correct their deficiency with fertilizer.
