Three weeks of flora and fauna! We will use Visual Thinking Strategies, an open-ended looking method to investigate art by Anna Atkins (cyanotypes), Maria Sybilla Merian (flowers and insects), John Audubon, and Georgia O'Keeffe. Then we will learn a little bit more about each artist and their work, followed by a making activity inspired by their work. Projects include plant prints, cyanotypes, hammered florals, and sun catchers.
