Have you ever dreamed of being a writer? Do you have a great idea but you don't know how to turn that idea into a story or a novel? Are you already working on a novel but you'd like to get feedback from others to see if you're on the right track? Whether you're a complete beginner or you've been writing for years, this class can help you hone your skills and be a successful writer. In addition to learning what it takes to write great fiction, we will also cover selling your finished work both to the traditional New York publishers and independently through Amazon's self-publishing process.

How to Write Great Fiction will introduce the fundamentals of writing as well as selling your finished novels and short stories. We will provide feedback on issues related to student manuscripts. Please bring a sample of a work in progress or begin a project after the first class session. Each class provides guided workshop time where students learn through participation. Students will receive a copy of Glenn's non-fiction book titled Write a Great Novel. It is included in the class fee.
