The fifth annual Kansas Hunger Dialogue brings together individuals from across the state to build awareness, advocacy, and action about hunger through the sharing of research, best practices, and model programs. At the dialogue, attendees generate strategies and action plans for identifying campus and organization-based initiatives. Information from collaborative efforts on strategies for impacting hunger on both local and global levels is disseminated to the administrators, faculty, students, and all others who attend. The theme for this year's dialogue is From Farm to Table: Not Just a Farming Issue. Key note speakers include Maria Belding, CEO and Founder of MEANS, Ryan Flickner of Kansas Farm Bureau and Jackie McClusky, KS Secretary of Agriculture. There will also be an Outreach meal packaging event sponsored by Volunteer Kansas.
