You will learn how to make sushi first from how to boil rice well. Then we will explore to create two styles of sushi: rolled and layered, by making combinations with roasted chicken, pepper beef, and various colorful vegetables. Participants will take home their own rolling mat.
Ayumi, from Osaka, studied architecture in Yokohama and worked in Tokyo, Japan. She loves Japanese design, nature, and food, and is passionate about cultural exchange and traditional craftsmanship.

Growing up in Osaka, Japan, Ayumi always enjoyed cooking. Since she started making rolled omelets at 7 years old, she has continued learning new techniques and developing new recipes.Ayumi has also taken calligraphy lessons in Japan for about eight years and is trained in architectural design. She enjoys sharing Japanese culture.
