We begin with a 20 minute guided meditation, then slowly explore the land, plants, and creatures with mindfulness and bodyfulness activities, and conclude with medicinal tea that I've locally harvested. There are several opportunities to share and connect through Listening circles. We walk less than 1/2 mile. Forest Therapy is inspired by the Japanese practice of Shinrin-Yoku, ‘forest bathing.’ This structured sequence has been well-researched to reduce cortisol and stress, increase creativity, and reduce symptoms of anxiety, ADHD, and more. Guided intentional connection with nature is enlightening and restorative, and it’s often a powerful new way of feeling alive!
